How PuroClean’s Open Territory Franchise Agreement Works

If you’re wondering how to start a biohazard cleaning business and looking for franchise opportunities with proven support systems in place, look no further than PuroClean. We’re proud to offer a revolutionary take on the franchise business model, giving each Franchise Owner an open territory franchise agreement and a HALO zone.

What Is an Open Territory System?

When looking for a restoration business for sale, you might notice that most franchise systems set out  defined and specific areas in which Franchise Owners can work and a designated audience to whom they can market your services. This means they can’t take on any jobs outside their designated territory, and they can’t market to anyone outside that area.

At PuroClean, we don’t believe this model works. We prefer to work with an open territory franchise agreement, which allows our franchise partners to take ownership of their Protected Office Location (POL) while expanding their marketing efforts outside this designated area.

A POL is a specific and agreed-upon area that’s defined in your Franchise Agreement and contains a population of around 100,000 people you can serve.

What Is a HALO Zone?

With PuroClean’s open territory system, you’re given what we call a “HALO” territory, which is an additional radius of 150,000 people on top of the 100,000 designated through the POL. With HALO zones, Franchise Owners can truly take advantage of the PuroClean name and grow their businesses by servicing a much larger area.

How Do These Support Franchise Success?

If you’re wondering, “Is owning a franchise profitable?” you should know there are two main advantages to PuroClean’s open territory franchise agreement. First, Franchise Owners can take their damage restoration franchise businesses to new heights by serving more people. Second, the open territory system encourages a sense of community among PuroClean Franchise Owners through joint marketing efforts.

You might think that an open territory system would create unwanted competition between Franchise Owners. But at PuroClean, we’ve witnessed the exact opposite — our model has instead created a level of camaraderie that helps Franchise Owners build successful businesses.

We’ve seen our open territory franchise agreement system foster good relationships between our Franchise Owners. For example, in several metro areas, PuroClean franchise partners meet to work on marketing plans as a team. Our Franchise Owners know that the power of the PuroClean brand will help all of them.
