Our New Franchisee Training Graduates – Class of February 2019

The PuroClean Academy offers our Franchise Owners extensive, ongoing training to ensure they are set up for success. An important part of the Academy is New Franchise Owner Training (NFT) — a three-week training program covering technical knowledge, practical instruction, sales and marketing, financial operations, and business management that is required for all new Franchise Owners.

We are excited about our February 2019 class of Franchise Owners who graduated from NFT, and we are enthusiastic to see them succeed at their locations and provide relentless customer service to their communities. This group had the special opportunity to be part of our 100th flood celebration so their NFT was a truly unique experience.

We welcome our new Franchise Owners to the PuroClean family!

Diego Barros, PuroClean of Longwood, Longwood, FL

Our New Franchisee Training Graduates Class February 2019

Originally from Ecuador, Diego Barros came to the United State three years ago. Before signing on with PuroClean, he worked in the service industry for an electric company and spent another 12 years doing conveyor belt work and servicing a variety of industries, including mining, construction, and logistics.

Diego was looking to open his own business and decided the franchising model was the way to go because of the opportunity to invest in a company with a well-known brand and a reputation that people trust. After meeting with the PuroClean team, he was convinced this was the company he should buy into. He saw a good franchise structure in place, giving him the comfort and peace of mind that he could achieve great success here as a Franchise Owner.

Diego will run the operation with his wife, Veronica. In the next three years, the husband-and-wife team would like to expand the business all throughout Orlando, Kissimmee, and other communities in central Florida. We can’t wait to see where PuroClean takes them!

Erica Desentz, PuroClean of Plymouth, Plymouth, MI

Our New Franchisee Training Graduates Class February 2019

Erica Desentz comes to PuroClean with a wealth of experience in management and problem-solving. She most recently served as a senior IT program manager, working with converged and hyper-converged infrastructure. After graduating from Wayne State University, she worked for manufacturing and financial companies. When her company was bought by a much larger corporation and consolidated jobs, she was left to decide on the next step in her career. She delved deep into research on franchises to learn how she could become her own boss.

When she learned more about PuroClean and met the corporate team, she knew it was a great fit. With a 16-month-old and five-year-old at home, Erica knew she wanted to work with a franchise that was recession-resistant and that would provide a great future for her family. She was also drawn to the fact that by owning a PuroClean, she’d be helping members of her community get back on their feet after a property disaster. Helping people in need has always been a passion of Erica’s.

Erica’s new PuroClean will serve Plymouth, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, where she is already an active community member, in April. We can’t wait to see where her new business takes her!
