Our New Franchise Owner Training Graduates: Class of September 2018

After three weeks of intense New Franchise Owner Training (NFT) at the PuroClean Academy, we are elated to announce that our September 2018 class of franchise owners have graduated from NFT. They have gained or reinforced the technical and business management skills that will help them succeed in the restoration industry.

We are thrilled to have them in our PuroClean family and can’t wait to see them succeed at their locations. Check out more details about our new franchise owners below.

Phil Dhargyal and Tenzin Jigme, PuroClean of Alexandria, Alexandria, VA

Our New Franchise Owner Training Graduates Class September 2018

Phil and Tenzin are old friends from the same town in India – Damsala. Both originally from Tibet, Phil and Tenzin came to India as refugees. Eventually, they immigrated to the United States. Since then, Phil and Tenzin have spent more than eight years working in the restoration and construction industries. Both with an entrepreneurial mindset, the duo had always dreamt of operating their own restoration business.

Phil and Tenzin discovered the PuroClean franchise opportunity through independent research and by speaking with people they looked up to in the restoration industry. The duo not only saw an opportunity to run a successful business, but also an opportunity to help other people. After participating in a “Meet the Team Day” event, Phil and Tenzin knew the PuroClean franchise opportunity was the right venture for them.

Phil and Tenzin have opened PuroClean of Alexandria in November, which operates in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. region. We are excited to have them on board and cannot wait to see all they accomplish with their business!

Tomas Mejia and Sonia Gonzalez, PuroClean of Central Denver, Denver, CO

Our New Franchise Owner Training Graduates Class September 2018

Tomas Mejia and Sonia Gonzalez are a married couple originally from Colombia, South America. No strangers to business ownership, both Tomas and Sonia were involved in several other endeavors before joining PuroClean. Mejia started his own business importing textile fabrics from Bangladesh and eventually moved onto other ventures. Sonia worked for nearly 10 years in the sales and marketing department at Procter & Gamble before making the transition out of the corporate world.

Together with Sonia’s father, the trio opened their own farm where they raised up to 8,000 pigs and harvested about 120,000 tomato plants. Tomas and Sonia, both of whom received degrees in international business, moved to the United States two months ago and settled on Denver because of the city’s diverse demographic, low tax rate, and conduciveness to small business success.

After discussing business opportunities with a friend in the industry and conducting some thorough research of their own, Tomas and Sonia decided PuroClean was the best fit for them. Not only did PuroClean boast great numbers and an attractive entrepreneurial spirit, but it also offered the selfless couple the opportunity to help homeowners when they need it the most. Paired with the fact that the franchise truly cares about its team members and customers, Tomas and Sonia decided to take their passion for customer service to PuroClean.

We can’t wait to see where PuroClean takes them as they provide world-class restoration and remediation services to Denver and surrounding areas.
