Commitment to Serve: Army Veteran and Franchise Owner, Mark McGuire, Shares How PuroClean Has Helped Him Continue to Serve His Community

Mark McGuire

With over 20 years of experience in the remediation industry, Mark McGuire was looking for more than just a company with an excellent track record when choosing which franchise to become a part of — he wanted one that reflected his values. As an Army veteran, Mark immediately connected with PuroClean’s commitment to providing relentless customer service and showing compassion for people in their times of need.

After serving in the US Army, Mark transitioned into the remediation industry and fell in love with helping his local community, prompting him to open his water mitigation company. After speaking with an existing PuroClean franchise owner, he knew this was a franchise he wanted to join. Mark now serves as the franchise owner of PuroClean of Hamilton County in Chattanooga, Tennessee, using the sense of community he learned from his military service.

“As a PuroClean franchise owner, I treat everyone like we’re on the same team, whether it’s a fellow business owner or a customer in need,” said Mark. “I try to go the extra mile to serve the community around me and make sure everyone is taken care of.”

Ranked as one of the top 50 “2019 Top Franchises for Veterans” by Entrepreneur magazine, PuroClean established its PuroVet program to help veterans transition to franchise ownership and become part of the PuroClean family. PuroVet has dedicated year-round support programs for veterans, including a discounted rate of 25% off the initial franchise fee. Veterans currently account for over 10 percent of PuroClean’s franchise network. In addition to these generous programs, all PuroVet participants have access to PuroClean’s state-of-the-art training facility and the nationwide network of franchise owners.
