On November 10, 1775, the United States Marine Corps was born — a force defined by courage, discipline, and an unbreakable brotherhood. Today, as the Marine Corps celebrates its 250th birthday, we pause to honor every Marine, past and present, whose dedication has safeguarded our nation and inspired generations of service.
