PuroClean proudly exhibited at the National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) National Conference, held October 29–30 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, connecting with America’s leading corporations and underscoring its mission to empower veterans through entrepreneurship and meaningful corporate engagement.

Through its PuroVet Program, PuroClean continues to open doors for veterans transitioning from military service into business ownership within the $210 billion property restoration industry. The conference provided an ideal platform for both the PuroClean corporate team and PuroVet Franchise Owners to engage directly with supplier diversity leaders from some of America’s most recognized corporations.

The PuroClean corporate team facilitated introductions and strategic discussions with Walmart, Truist Bank, AT&T, Google, Amazon, Dell, Johnson & Johnson, Toyota Motor North America, CVS Health, Adient, and Magna, among others. These one-on-one meetings created new opportunities for veteran franchisees in procurement, partnerships, and disaster restoration contracts — extending PuroClean’s national reach through NVBDC’s trusted corporate network.

Frank Torre emphasized that these connections are a reflection of the shared vision between PuroClean and NVBDC.

“Keith King and his team have built an incredible bridge between corporate America and veteran-owned businesses,” Torre said. “Through PuroVet, we’re not just helping veterans start franchises — we’re helping them access corporate opportunities, build wealth, and strengthen their communities.”

The collaboration between PuroClean and NVBDC is rooted in a mutual commitment to advancing veteran franchise programs and veteran entrepreneurship. King, NVBDC’s Founder and CEO, praised PuroClean’s leadership and the impact of its PuroVet initiative.

“PuroClean’s leadership under Frank Torre represents exactly what NVBDC stands for — helping veterans build sustainable, certified businesses that corporations can trust,” said King. “The PuroVet Program is a model for how companies can integrate certification, mentorship, and real-world opportunity to create measurable impact for veteran entrepreneurs.”

Among the highlights of the event, Thomas McGuire, a PuroClean Franchise Owner, was among the panelists at NVBDC’s Veteran Panel. He spoke to a packed room of veteran business owners and corporate members, sharing his personal journey into PuroClean franchising and the benefits of ownership under the PuroVet Program. McGuire’s remarks resonated deeply with attendees, exemplifying how military experience, discipline, and leadership translate into successful entrepreneurship within the restoration industry.

The PuroVet Franchise Owners were among the attendees who participated in high-level meetings facilitated through Frank Torre’s longstanding relationship with Keith King. These discussions were coordinated with the support of Paul Edelstein, PuroVet Consultant, who assisted in organizing and guiding conversations between Franchise Owners and corporate supplier diversity managers.

Their participation underscored how veterans bring leadership, accountability, and mission-driven excellence to every PuroClean location — embodying the core values shared by both PuroClean and NVBDC while strengthening pathways for veteran-owned businesses to engage with corporate America.
